Sierra Ridge Winery is just moments away from Historic downtown Sutter Creek.
Sierra Ridge is the quintessential boutique winery. Our award winning wines are hand crafted, and produced in small lots. With over 20 varieties grown in our vineyards, we produce some unique wines. From Pinotage, typically a wine produced in South Africa, to Vranac a wine usually found only in Europe, we are proud to share them with you.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is happy to make your visit interesting and fun!
We are of Italian lineage and are the fourth generation in the family business. Horace Lanza, our founding father from Sicily; began the journey of lovingly growing, and producing wines. That knowledge and love has been passed down, always cherished and practiced still to this day.
We have a line of Italian varietals that we feel will be pleasing to your palette. Sangiovese, Freisa, Aglianico to name a few.
Sierra Ridge Winery formerly known as Sutter Ridge is a beautiful country winery situated on a knoll with breathtaking views. Rolling vineyards, with sun kissed hills await you. Hand stacked stone walls, olive trees, and flower garden will greet you. Stay a while and relax on the patio and enjoy a glass of wine.
A perfect venue for your next special outdoor occasion, be it a wedding, family reunion, or benefit. |

“I visited your winery for the first time on Sunday (Behind the Cellar Door). It was wonderful, everyone so pleasant and knowledgeable, I loved your wine - especially the Nebbiolo.
I can't wait to come back; everyone was so friendly it was one of my favorite wineries!”
