Harvest Hosts is a network of vintners, farmers, growers & producers who generously invites self-contained RV owners to visit their vineyards and farms and allow them to stay overnight (no longer than 24 hours) at their properties free of charge.
Harvest Hosts is the first and only RV Host Visitation Network offered to the RVing public by agritourism operators in the United States. It is a relationship that has been in place in successfully operated for over 10 years in France, and more recently in Spain, Switzerland and Italy.
With an invitation to stay at their vineyards & on their farms, our Harvest Hosts are providing RV owners the opportunity to enjoy fresh, natural, and unique products while learning about the commitment & dedication of a family operated business. Sierra Ridge is eager to share our knowledge and have you visit their farms and businesses where old-fashioned values and fun are still part of the traditions.
Harvest Hosts promotes the use of RV’s in harmony with the environment and tourism strongly connected to nature. Harvest Hosts also provide an educational experience that allows for the rediscovery of the rich heritage of the countryside. We support the economic growth of rural communities and foster direct relationships between the growers, the producers and their customers. We believe this is the best way to discover the heart of rural communities, to experience interesting locations, warm welcomes & friendly exchanges, and to learn about local products and life on a family farm.
Members of Harvest Hosts receive a Participating Hosts Handbook, a Personal Identification Card & a Vehicle Identification sticker for the current year. All members agree to abide by the Harvest Hosts Code of Conduct.
A member subscription costs only $25.00, no more than the average price of one night’s accommodation at a private campground. The Participating Hosts Handbook is a passport into the lives of the Harvest Hosts and is renewable every year. The Hosts for 2010 are located in California, Oregon & Washington.
